Simply Christian's Online Sunday School™ helping the New England Conference's 554 congregations bring Sunday school home.

CRANBERRY TWP. — Feb. 08, 2005— The New England Conference of the United Methodist Church ( NEUMC ) has teamed up with the shared miniistry effort of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference ( WPAUMC ) , Dutilh UMC of Cranberry, PA ( Dutilh UMC ), and Simply Christian® to provide the Online Sunday School™ (OSS) to the 554 congregations of the NEUMC.
"Just a couple months ago while forming this shared ministry we talked about hopefully being able to bring the OSS to children and churches beyond Western Pennsylvania in 2005. In January we began to make the OSS available to the congregations of the New England Conference. It is hard to imagine, but the OSS in now available to United Methodist Churches in eight states! What's next?", says Marianne C. Ferrans, co-founder of the Simply Chrisitan ministry.
About Simply Christian’s Online Sunday School™ (OSS):
The OSS is a great way for your church to further the Sunday school experience for churches, parents, teachers,  and children. From the privacy of their own home or from any computer, parents and their children can have access to their church's Sunday school Bible readings and a suite of related interactive puzzles, quizzes, and games. Teachers can download lessons and activities. The Bible reading and activities are updated weekly, providing the children with a new and different experience every week. The weekly readings are based on the Lectionary Calendar or can be customized.
