The Greater New Jersey Conference (GNJUMC) joins WPAUMC's and Simply Christian's Online Sunday School™ (OSS) shared ministry bringing the OSS to all GNJUMC churches

CRANBERRY TWP. —  May 29, 2006— "We are very excited about the opportunity to serve the Greater New Jersey Conference!", exclaims Marianne C. Ferrans, co-founder of Simply Christian.  Marianne goes on to add, "The conference partnership program allows the conference to use its connectional ministries to their fullest.  Each conference partner provides the OSS to its churches for free and promotes the OSS within their conference.  We update and maintain the OSS and provide any needed brochures, flyers and materials to help conferences get the word out about the ministry.  With each conference utilizing their existing administrative channels, together we can save our churches a tremendous amount of resources!"

GNJUMC has teamed up with the shared ministry effort of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference (WPAUMC) and Simply Christian® to provide the Online Sunday School™ to its 555 charges.  The OSS is a tool helping conferences provide their churches with the ability to augment a church's Sunday school program with a set of online activities related to the weekly lectionary.  WPAUMC's OSS Conference Partnership Program is designed to make the OSS available to the churches of a conference partner at no cost to the individual churches.
